Police were called to Euston station around 2.45pm today (October 2). Officers investigated the item and found it was not in fact suspicious, with the incident being stood down. A British Transport Police spokesperson said: “Officers were called at around 2.45pm today (2 October) to reports of a suspicious item at Euston railway station. “A cordon was put in place and the station evacuated as a precaution. “The item has since been assessed as non-suspicious and the incident stood down.”National Rail has said trains between London Euston and Watford Junction will likely be delayed until 8pm, despite lines reopening quickly.
