According to a new survey on behalf of bathroom brand, nuie, 73 per cent also feel their bathrooms lack style, while 39 per cent are not planning upgrades, with 36 per cent citing budget issues. The research also revealed that 22 per cent of people in the region use their bathroom daily for relaxation, yet a third describe the space as non-functional. Jon Walker, Head of Marketing at nuie, said: "It’s not surprising that the people of Yorkshire are demanding more luxurious bathrooms to suit their budget. "The bathroom is an essential space for self-care and me-time. "At nuie, we’re firm believers that the most private room in the house should also be the most relaxing – a place where you can be yourself, unwind, and enjoy the little things."
