Christ used, properly, His courage to face His fear in order to obey God’s instructions. Our Lord Jesus Christ said, “let him deny himself.” Therefore, just as Christ used His courage to deny Himself, and not deny God’s will, this is also what He is instructing to His disciples. It could be very challenging to make the type of lifestyle changes required to truly follow the Lord Jesus Christ. Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we ask of You, Lord Jesus, to help us as well to be able to imitate Your wonderful example.
