A man has been arrested after a verbal argument ended with an object being thrown at a woman. The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers responded to a domestic disturbance at an unspecified location in Chatham on Tuesday shortly before 8 p.m. Authorities arrived to find that a woman had been struck by an object, which was thrown by a man during an argument. Following an investigation, police also learned that the man had previously threatened and assaulted the woman. While the man fled the scene before officers arrived, a suspect was later located in the area and arrested.
