A major fishing contest aims to shield Southwest Florida's waters. The RedSnook Catch and Release Charity Tournament runs October 24-26, 2025, with proceeds benefiting the Conservancy of Southwest Florida. The money also backed mangrove studies and work to keep water clean. Working in five counties, the Conservancy runs the area's sole wildlife care center. The weekend starts with a party at the Naples center.
