Former Lagos State governorship candidate under the Peoples Democratic Party, Olajide Adediran, widely known as Jandor, has declared that he will be running for the governorship seat again in 2027. Jandor made his intention known while addressing questions about possible contenders for the race, including Seyi Tinubu, son of the President, and former governor Akinwunmi Ambode. He dismissed such speculations and maintained that his focus was on offering himself once more to serve Lagos State. He recalled his previous attempt at the polls and said he was ready to return to the contest. Jandor explained that his decision to run again in Lagos was driven by his belief in service and his determination to play a stronger role in the state’s political future.
