Pike County Farm-City Committee Seeks Nominations For Annual Awards Published 10:10 am Thursday, October 2, 2025The Pike County Farm-City Committee is seeking nominations and applications to help recognize the county’s top farmer, young farmer, and outstanding students. “Pike County has a long history of outstanding farmers who are the backbone of our community,” said Pike County Farm-City Committee Chairman Abby Peters, who also is the Pike County Extension Director. Nomination forms are available on the Pike County Farm-City Facebook Page or Pike County Extension Office and must be submitted by the deadline. Winners in all the local Farm-City contests will be recognized during the annual Pike County Farm-City dinner Nov. 20 at 6 p.m. at the Pike County Cattleman Park.
