Goshen grad Abigail Ellerman receives Farmers Federation Scholarship Published 10:36 am Thursday, October 2, 2025Pike County native Abigail Ellerman was one of 83 college students from across Alabama to receive a scholarship from the Alabama Farmers Agriculture Foundation (AFAF). The scholarships were announced at the AFAF’s Annual Scholarship Banquet in Auburn on Sept. 29. Ellerman received a $2,000 scholarship from the AFAF and Pike County Farmers Federation. Ellerman was a member of the National Honors Society, National Technical Honor Society and Phi Theta Kappa in high school. “This organization puts effort into serving the future of agriculture,” said Carroll, the Dale County Farmers Federation president.
