The Member of Parliament for Bantama, Francis Asenso-Boakye, has firmly denied allegations made in a viral social media video suggesting that he dismissed concerns over unpaid nursing trainee allowances during an election period. Mr. Asenso-Boakye stressed that there is no nursing training institution within the Bantama constituency, noting that although Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital has a nursing school, it does not fall under his constituency. “It is therefore strange, incoherent, and deeply misleading for my name to be associated with this matter,” he stated. He urged the public to disregard the allegations and appealed for the identity of the lady in the video to be made known. He emphasized his commitment to focusing on his duties as a legislator and contributing to national development.
