While his journey officially led him to Bradford City’s Valley Parade, Wiggins made the decision to go the extra mile, quite literally, by adding Bradford (Park Avenue) to his itinerary. As part of the challenge, Xavier aimed to raise funds to fight poverty, homelessness and barriers to sport. On arrival at the Horsfall Community Stadium, he was greeted by the club's Community Director, Mat Everett, and Foundation coach, John Caven, who shared with him the breadth of work being delivered through the Bradford (Park Avenue) Community Sports Foundation. During the visit, Xavier asked a number of questions about Avenue's community programmes and values.
