The Greater Manchester Police (GMP) have said that there is not enough evidence to continue the investigation against Pakistani cricketer Haider Ali for rape in the UK. Ali worked with the police completely and was let go on bail while the investigation was going on.The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said that Haider Ali had the right legal help during the whole process. In 2020, he played his first Twenty20 match for his country against England in Manchester. Later that year, he played his first One Day International match for his country against Zimbabwe. It also shows how important it is to follow due process when looking into such severe claims, while still keeping in mind fairness and the assumption of innocent.
