Shalom House Hospice, based in Nun Street in St Davids, has announced that it will close its doors at the end of October. Shalom House said that it also offered five-day, 24/7 respite stays when additional funding allowed. The stunning view from Shalom House, St Davids(Image: Shalom House)The charity launched a Save Shalom House campaign in spring 2024, saying it needed to raise equivalent to around £24,000 per month to keep open. “Your kindness and generosity have given us precious extra years of being able to keep Shalom House open and serving the community,” said the trustees. “Though this is the end of Shalom House, we will always be proud of what has been achieved here and the difference it has made to so many lives.”It is not yet known what will happen to the daily branch surgery held at Shalom House.
