After 12 years of serving District 4 on Milledgeville City Council, Walter Reynolds will not seek reelection and will instead seek election to become the city’s new mayor. He is the youngest city alderman ever elected in Milledgeville and one of the youngest city elected officials in Georgia. “Responsibilities like being the first face that people are greeted by when they come into our community,” Reynolds said. That’s not it at all.”Asked what he believes he can bring to the table as mayor that Mayor Mary Parham-Copelan isn’t already bringing, Reynolds responded. “We do not do a great job of sharing good work and accomplishments with our community,” Reynolds said.
