EATONTON, Ga. — A 51-year-old man who recently moved to Milledgeville was killed Tuesday morning after his vehicle slammed into the back of a loaded log truck in Putnam County, local authorities say. The wreck occurred on U.S. Highway 441 near Old Milledgeville Road about 6:18 a.m., according to Putnam County Sheriff Howard R. Sills.
