He profoundly loved his wife, Gwen Ambrose Hughson, with whom he shared twenty-eight wonderful years of marriage. His pride extended deeply to his beloved children, Emma Hughson of Asheville, and Ethan Hughson of Buies Creek, whom he supported unconditionally in all their endeavors and educational pursuits. Jamie Hughson will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. A celebration of Jamie’s life will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 11 a.m., also at Garrett-Sykes Funeral Service Chapel.
