Russia’s largest integrated petrochemicals company reports that in future it will supply its own demand for neodymium catalyst, a key substance required for the production of high-quality synthetic rubbers. Sibur is modernising the neodymium versatate synthesis unit at its Nizhnekamskneftekhim facility in the Republic of Tatarstan and aims to boost annual production capacity by 28 per cent, to 485 tonnes.
