Local drama drives Seven’s WednesdayPaired with Home and Away the return of RFDS was second in its timeslot, as viewers welcome drama to an early timeslot. Last night was something of an experiment for Seven given it boldly scheduled a local drama, RFDS, in the 7:30 timeslot… a rarity for commercial television these days. Paired with Home & Away, RFDS drew an average of 771,000 viewers, which is a good result for its first outing. The Block remained on top at 1.22m then 7:30 (736,000), Hard Quiz (613,000), Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly Australia (229,000) and The People vs Robodebt (173,000). ABC News drew 860,000 then Hard Quiz rpt (354,000), The Assembly (189,000), Spicks & Specks (142,000) and Guy Montgomery’s Guy Mont-Spelling Bee (120,000).
