The incidents unfolded between Tuesday (September 16) and today (September 18) in Ilford, Stoke Newington and Leyton. On Wednesday (September 17), police were called to Clissold Park in Stoke Newington at around 7pm. A man in his 40s, now confirmed to be a suspect of the shooting, was found by officers with gunshot wounds. A woman, in her 30s, has been stabbed today (September 18) just after 4.15pm at Lea Bridge Road in Leyton. A man in his 40s has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and remains in police custody.
