The Lakewood Police Department collaborates with non-profit 30X30 Fundraising to fund a bullet resistant vest for K9 Ares. LAKEWOOD, WA: The Lakewood Police Department and the nonprofit 30×30 Fundraising have partnered to provide essential equipment for K9 Ares, a member of their law enforcement team. To meet these needs, 30×30 Fundraising is reaching out to the community, seeking donations to ensure K9 Ares has the K9 Storm vest requested as it’s the gold standard in Kevlar protection. The bullet-resistant vest will provide K9 Ares protection against stabbings, shrapnel, impalement, and handgun bullets. Surplus funds will continue to support additional needs for K9 Ares.
