The blaze broke out in the basement of the pub on Church Court at around 6.27pm. Crews from Richmond, Kingston, Twickenham and surrounding stations were sent to the scene. Part of the basement was damaged in the fire. London Fire Brigade confirmed the fire was confined to the basement, with no further damage to the pub. #The Angel and Crown is open as usual today.
