Andrew Cristall is a fan of his new nickname “Loaf.”Speaking on the moniker for the first time, Cristall confirmed RMNB reporting that Loaf came from Tom Wilson last year due to his giftedness in the follicle game. “Honestly, I think it started like last year,” Cristall said. “I saw that when they posted that goal (against Columbus on Tuesday) it said loaf,” Cristall said. Taking a couple chirps for it now, but I think it’s pretty funny.”Cristall’s last name doesn’t lend itself well to a classic hockey nickname especially when shortened with an i-e ending.
