02.10.2025Ukraine’s defense forces have struck and put out of operation more than 30% of Russia’s oil and gas infrastructure, according to a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence, MP Fedir Venislavskyi. According to him, Ukraine’s domestically produced long‑range systems are inflicting significant losses on Russia. “According to the latest information, more than 30% of the enemy’s oil and gas processing capacity has been lost,” Venislavskyi said. In addition, the long‑range weapons the United States has pledged to provide would further push Russia toward negotiating a just peace, the MP added. “The only thing that can make him change his stance on the war is strikes with precision, long‑range weapons against legitimate military targets,” Venislavskyi said.
