Yoruba Nation agitator Sunday Igboho has called on the Nigerian government to hand him control of a security agency to lead operations against Fulani terrorists. Naija News reports that the activist made this demand while addressing his followers in Ibadan, Oyo State. Igboho vowed to storm forests and communities where the groups are believed to be hiding, seize their weapons, and end their activities. The gunmen, said to be heavily armed, reportedly struck around 8 p.m. on Wednesday in the Tsauni area of Gusau and whisked their victims into the forest. Residents who confirmed the development to newsmen said the abducted councillors represent Gidan Gona and Tsibiri wards in Maradun Local Government Area of the state.
