The County encourages residents to contact the Luna County Planning Department prior to beginning any project to ensure that all plans meet the necessary requirements. Luna County voters will have the opportunity to hear from candidates during a forum hosted by the Deming Luna County Chamber of Commerce on October 7, at 5:30 p.m. at the historic Train Depot. Candidates in the upcoming local election will participate, providing the public with an opportunity to meet them, hear about their platforms, and ask questions. Audience members will have the chance to submit questions, which will be randomly selected for the candidates to address.
