Carpinteria High girls volleyball dropped a five-set thriller with Malibu on Wednesday in Carpinteria, 26-24, 25-18, 19-25, 14-25, 8-15. “We played a really strong game, but Malibu was able to come back and play better down the stretch,” Warrior head coach Richard Quitoriano said. Meanwhile, Skyla Delwiche chipped in three kills, three assists and three blocks. Harper Rowbottom served up 10 aces, hammered down five kills and picked up eight digs. The Warriors will be on the road against Channel Islands on Thursday.
