The actress and her partner Ben Harlow got married at the Hidden River Barn in Longtown near Carlisle on September, 16 surrounded by their closest friends and family. The Eastenders star, whose character Roxy Mitchell was killed off alongside sister Ronnie in dramatic scenes back in 2017, has shared stunning pictures and videos from her wedding to her over half a million followers on Instagram. In a post on her Instagram, Rita said: "I can't even put into words how special our day was...mostly because we have the most incredible bunch of humans who love us unconditionally and who were prepared to travel to Hidden River Barn from all over the world to share our day. "We love you all." As well as using the Hidden River Barn, Rita and her husband Ben also had a number of Cumbrian suppliers, including Studio Yard florists and Carlisle based wedding photographer CPD Photography.
