Joni Lamb’s granddaughter abuse case closed without charges

The Gospel Herald
A police investigation into allegations of sexual abuse involving the granddaughter of Daystar Television co-founder Joni Lamb has been officially closed due to insufficient evidence, local authorities confirmed this week.
She stated that both she and Pete “know the truth,” according to previous statements made on Daystar broadcasts.
Although the case is now closed, Texas law does not impose a statute of limitations on child sexual assault.
Jonathan and Suzy Lamb maintain that their daughter is still too young to fully articulate what happened but believe the truth will eventually come to light.
While the investigation ended without charges, the case has revealed deep divisions within one of Christian broadcasting’s most influential families and renewed broader concerns about how religious institutions handle abuse allegations internally.
