The 32nd Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film came to an end after six days full of highlights from the world of animation. The festival, which ran May 6-11, for the first time held its awards ceremony on Saturday evening (May 10). According to ITFS managing director Heike Mozer and artistic director Annegret Richter, “The ITFS reached a whole new level this year, both in terms of curatorial highlights and meaningful encounters. From Schlossplatz to the cinemas and the Festival Centre, ITFS became a place of friendship and exchange - united by a passion for animation.
