Downtown Little Rock’s Ottenheimer Hall will close this fall for renovations, Mayor Frank Scott Jr. announced during a press conference Friday. Leland Couch, director of parks and recreation, said 30 Crossing Park will connect to existing infrastructure downtown, including Riverfront Park, the Central Arkansas Library System main campus and the Arkansas River Trail. “Riverfront Park, the library, our trail system; all these will be tied into this park,” Couch said. Officials are seeking feedback from the public on the 30 Crossing Park concept this weekend. The experience will be available from 4-6 p.m. at the UALR downtown campus on Saturday and at the Downtown Food Truck Festival on Sunday at the grounds of the future park.
