A petition to remove Ward 2 City Director Ken Richardson from his position on the Little Rock Board of Directors has been filed with the city clerk’s office, according to an email obtained by the Arkansas Times. Richardson hasn’t been seen at a city board meeting since May 2024, but has continued to collect paychecks from the city. According to an email sent by City Attorney Tom Carpenter to Mayor Frank Scott Jr. and the city board of directors, Pam Noble filed a petition Wednesday to remove Richardson, citing his absence from board meetings. Richardson has represented Ward 2, which covers part of Southwest Little Rock, since 2007. Here’s Carpenter’s full email, sent Thursday:
