Chef MaryAnn Strange and Ryan Williams, the team behind the soon-to-open R&M Coffee Bar & Cafe in downtown Little Rock’s Pyramid Place building, made a memorable appearance on KLRT-TV, Fox 16’s “Food Spotlight” segment last week. After taking Fox 16 anchor Ashlei King through some of their menu offerings, Williams surprised Strange with a marriage proposal that made for great live television. R&M Coffee Bar & Cafe will be the second restaurant from Strange and Williams’ R&M Eatery Group. Think loaded pancakes, waffles stacked high, and French toast drippin’ in cookie butter, peach cobbler, and more. This is Southern comfort with a sweet twist—and yes, it’s unapologetically over the top.
