Société Générale has appointed Zvi Wohlgemuth as global head of development and structured export finance. Wohlgemuth will bring to the position his expertise in structured finance, energy and asset-based transactions and loan syndication, which will be “instrumental in building the group’s ambitions in development and structured export finance”, Société Générale says. Wohlgemuth joined Société Générale in 2007, initially working on project finance and Middle East loan distribution. He has also been an associate director with RBS, working in project finance, aviation and shipping capital markets. Last year, Société Générale appointed Alexis Christodoulou as its new global head of trade and sustainable commodity finance.
