On 13 September 2025, the Chair of ACCORD’s Board of Trustees, Mrs Graca Machel, addressed the Grace for the World Concert, which took place at the Vatican in St. Peter’s Square. The concert was part of the Third World Meeting on Human Fraternity and the 2025 Jubilee Year celebrations. She called for a global commitment to peace, reminding the world that healing begins when we refuse to remain chained to the wounds of the past. 2025 marks 30 years that Mrs Machel has been a Trustee of ACCORD. Mrs Machel’s words are a timely reminder that justice, when rooted in compassion and integrity, becomes the foundation for lasting peace and human fraternity.
