Kathleen Koepele Credit: CourtesyKathleenC. Koepele, a cherished grandmother and warm soul, passed awaypeacefully on May 7, 2025, in Waitsfield, Vt., at the age of 83. Bornon February 23, 1942, in Ohio to Charles and Julia Crone, Kathy liveda life rich with intellectual pursuit, creative expression and deepfamilial love. After raising theirfamily in Michigan, Kathy and her husband, David, realized a dream bymoving to Vermont’s Green Mountains in 2006. Herpoetry, a reflection of her soul, lives on. Acelebration of Kathy’s life will be held this summer.
