DEXTER — Dexter scored early and often in its Week 4 matchup against East Prairie on Friday, Sept. 19. Sparked by a 37-yard Devin Turnbo touchdown on their first play of offense, the Bearcats (4-0) steamrolled to a 50-16 victory against an overmatched East Prairie (0-4) team. The Bearcats proved to be very stifling on defense as well, restricting the Eagles to points only late in the fourth quarter, with East Prairie garnering two touchdowns. "We were well aware of the types of games (East Prairie) running back Tavion Ware has had against us in the past, and we worked hard to contain him." After Turnbo's touchdown and an East Prairie fumble, Hervoyavich found the end zone from 14 yards out to put the Bearcats up 16-0.
