Sofia, 2 October 2025At its plenary meeting on 2 October 2025 in Sofia, the Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications (BEREC) elected Alejandra de Iturriaga Gandini as Chair for 2027. Following her election, the incoming BEREC Chair for 2027, Alejandra de Iturriaga Gandini, thanked her colleagues for their trust and support: “Assuming the BEREC Chairmanship in 2027 is both an honor and a great responsibility. Alejandra de Iturriaga Gandini has a vast experience in the telecommunications and digital policy field. Miniboard elections 2026As well as electing its Chair, BEREC also elected its vice-chairs for 2026. In the year preceding their chairmanship, the incoming BEREC Chair is responsible for preparing the Annual Work Programme.
