Anders Klöcker, Head of Innovations at the Danish Agriculture & Food Council, will make an official visit to the Spanish capital of Madrid on October 7 as part of Denmark’s Plant-Based Diplomacy Initiative. Speaking at the Danish embassy, Klöcker will outline innovative plant-based policies from his country. Key stakeholders from across the Spanish food system — including livestock farmers, agricultural producers, and policymakers — are expected to attend the event. Klöcker will explain to them why Danish farmers support policies and financing to develop the plant-based food value chain. The event comes as the Danish EU Council Presidency explores the potential for a European-wide plant-based food action plan.
