Air India Inaugurates First Direct Flights Between India and the PhilippinesAir India, the country’s flag carrier, has officially inaugurated its first direct flights linking New Delhi and Manila, opening a new chapter in connectivity between India and the Philippines.
Josel F. Ignacio, Ambassador of the Philippines to India; Maria Cynthia P. Pelayo, Minister and Consul General of the Embassy of the Philippines in India; P. Balaji, Group Head of Government, Risk, Compliance & Corporate Affairs, Air India; along with senior officials from both the Embassy and Air India.
Air India’s Delhi–Manila flights are operated with the Airbus A321LR, featuring a three-class cabin layout of Business, Premium Economy, and Economy.
The airline is among the few in Southeast Asia to offer fully flat beds in Business Class on a single-aisle A321 aircraft.
the flight will be operated every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday using Air India’s Airbus A321LR fleet.
