In August, Indian girl group WiSH told us that their goals “include national and international tours” and “playing Coachella and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon”. Now, they’ve placed their faith on The Hello Group India in helping them turn those dreams into reality. THG India, the joint venture between US-based global entertainment company The Hello Group and Sony Music India, has signed the quartet to “an exclusive worldwide management and bookings deal”. This makes the pop outfit the fourth Indian female act to be signed by THG India, after Nikhita Gandhi, Jonita Gandhi and Raja Kumari. For WiSH however, it’s very much an in-house move, for they are signed to Sony Music India, and were created by composer Mikey McCleary’s DreamPop Entertainment, another of the major’s companies.
