As Lego’s massive manufacturing facility in Chesterfield continues to be pieced together, the Danish toymaker marked a milestone in the project’s ongoing construction this week. Glenn Youngkin and Lego representatives gave remarks before an audience of 1,300 people, including the project’s construction workers and Lego employees, inside the future factory’s still-under-construction main production building. Lego says the Chesterfield factory project is nearly 35% complete. With the Chesterfield facility, Lego will have seven factories across the world. The manufacturing facility was announced in June 2022, and a groundbreaking ceremony was held for the project in 2023.
