A Chillicothe woman has pleaded guilty in Livingston County Circuit Court to felony first-degree involuntary manslaughter in connection with the 2021 death of a teenager who ingested counterfeit prescription pills. The Chillicothe Police Department previously reported officers were dispatched in October 2021 to the 400 block of Cherry Street for an unresponsive female. An investigation determined the teen had ingested counterfeit prescription pills, leading to Kelley’s arrest on allegations she distributed the drug. During the investigation, authorities also arrested 36-year-old Jeremiah Trimaine Horton of Chillicothe. Horton pleaded guilty in March 2022 to felony delivery of a controlled substance.
