Yield Guild Games (YGG) is scaling up its educational initiative, Metaversity, with partnerships across 24 educational institutions in the Philippines to provide training in artificial intelligence (AI) and Web3 gaming technologies. These skills, YGG said, can be applied not only in the gaming sector but also in broader digital and creative industries. In collaboration with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), YGG is also developing an eight-week upskilling program in Palawan. The expansion comes as YGG readies for the YGG Play Summit, scheduled for November 18–22, 2025, at SMX Aura in Bonifacio Global City. Themed “City of Play,” the summit will feature Metaversity’s “Skill District,” an educational hub designed to connect training directly with industry demand.
