THE School Environment Clubs (SEC) Namibia, in collaboration with the Namdeb Diamond Corporation, Namibia Chamber of Environment, and education ministry, hosted the Primary Schools Quiz 2025 on 20 September. The quiz brought together 14 Khomas schools under the theme ‘Protecting What Sustains Us: Food, Water, Environment, Energy and Life’. The competition aimed to enhance environmental literacy, empower pupils with knowledge to safeguard Namibia’s natural resources, as well as to raise environmental awareness, SEC says. The winning schools include Suiderhof Primary School, People’s Primary School, Tobias Hainyeko Primary School, Delta School Windhoek, Pionierspark Primary School, Môresen Special School and Dagbreek Resource School. The quiz planted seeds of awareness, and these are the seeds that will grow into leaders who protect and sustain our world,” he says.
