Pupkewitz Toyota has launched the ‘Save a Rhino’ campaign to raise awareness and support efforts to protect Namibia’s rhino population.
Brand manager Shawapala Kandjabanga at Pupkewitz Toyota on Wednesday said the campaign’s main event is a community night cycling race, scheduled for 7 to 8 November at the Pupkewitz Toyota showroom in Windhoek.
Entry fees are N$200 for solo riders, N$800 for social teams of four, and N$5 000 for corporate teams of four.
The campaign also includes partnerships with Wilderness and Children in the Wilderness to support rhino conservation education in schools within rhino-range areas.
Kandjabanga said the company is inviting the public to “participate, donate and show support” to strengthen conservation initiatives.
