Ellis Driscoll, 26, from Newport “brazenly” returned to drug trafficking as soon as he was released from prison for similar offences last November. And he even carried on doing so when he was released under investigation on police bail, prosecutor Sol Hartley told Cardiff Crown Court. “It was a well-known source of class A drugs,” Mr Hartley revealed. Driscoll, of Jenkins Street, admitted being concerned in the supply of class A drugs and possession with intent to supply class A and class B drugs. The defendant’s previous class A drug trafficking offences were committed in 2018 and 2022.
