Marlon Green, 33, from Newport was jailed earlier this week after he smashed his dad’s living room window with a brick before climbing in through it. He turned up at the victim’s home in the city in breach of a restraining order late at night on Saturday, August 30. The defendant, of Old Mill Court, Bettws pleaded guilty to breaching a restraining order and criminal damage. “He knows he’s facing a custodial sentence today.”Judge Richard Kember jailed Green for 10 months and ordered to pay a victim surcharge on his release from prison.
