This growth was driven by a 15.6% jump in Gross Import Revenue (₹52,492 crore) and a 6.8% increase in Gross Domestic Revenue (₹1,36,525 crore). Overall, for the first half of the current fiscal year (April to September 2025), total gross collections stood at ₹11,93,431 crore, an increase of 9.8% year-on-year. The largest absolute contributions to the total domestic collection came from Maharashtra (₹1,90,981 crore), Karnataka (₹87,188 crore), and Gujarat (₹71,066 crore), demonstrating these states’ dominant economic activity.
