Delhi ranked second among all Union Territories (UTs) for corruption-related cases and offences against the state in 2023, according to the latest report from the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB). Maharashtra led the list with 812 cases, followed by Karnataka with 362 and Rajasthan with 316. In the category of offences against the state, Delhi again ranked second with 13 cases. For government railway police cases, Delhi registered 5,176 cases in 2023, marking a 60% increase from the previous year, which had 3,243 cases.
