Leonardo Helicopters has officially opened its 73,000-square-foot Florida Support Center at Whiting Aviation Park in Santa Rosa County. The grand opening ceremony, held Sept. 18, saw guests including Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, Space Florida CEO Robert Long, military leaders, and representatives from local, state and federal government. Leonardo said the creation of the facility took its investment in U.S. military and civil helicopter support to $65 million.
