Thursday 2 October , 2025 {HMC}Somalia’s Deputy Minister of Planning, Investment, and Economic Development, Mohamed Adan Mohamed, chaired a crucial meeting to review the accountability of international organizations operating within the country. The Deputy Minister also officially announced the launch of the fourth phase of data collection, a key step in the ongoing evaluation process. Deputy Minister Mohamed stressed that it is imperative for every organization operating in Somalia to clearly demonstrate its impact and ensure its activities are fully integrated with the government’s national plans. He emphasized that accountability and transparency are the foundational pillars upon which public trust and a strong government-citizen relationship are built. The Deputy Minister reiterated the Ministry’s unwavering resolve to reinforce accountability, transparency, and the successful implementation of sustainable development goals throughout the nation.
